Re: Collecting's Impact on Casinos

I guess what I was trying to say is that a I could come up with the information with how many chips are outstanding, but it is not something I need on an hourly or bihourly basis. We count down all the windows, banks and vault at the end of each shift, but we do not compile and calculate all the outstanding chips.

What would be the reason for doing that on an hourly or 2 hourly basis?
Example: at 9PM we had $163,124 in outstanding chips, at 11PM we had $169,343 in outstanding chips (we're in the gaming business we know there will be an ebb and flow in chips). Yes more chips are out but that report would be vague and it is also wasteful of our resources. that is why I see no value in doing such a task that often.

We also do Hard and Soft counts like most casinos on a daily basis, that is how you start to dertermine your revenue.

As a supervisor my main goal is keeping open communitcaion between management and the employees. And striving to provide great service to our external and internal guests.
