Check out the car rental agencies when you get to Vegas; if they have an outfit that rents by the hour (these are coming out all over the country) that may be cheaper than either a taxi or a 24-hour rental. Yes, Fiesta & Texas are within walking distance, but carry a water bottle( ). They are across the road from each other but its still a little walk.
