I was looking at the chip on the right, thinking it was a condition upgrade to the chip I had in my collection, on the left. I noticed something very interesting. The chip on the left has a glossy smooth inlay. The chip on the right has a distinctively rough textured inlay. Can anyone see anything in the scan that would identify these chips as different variations? I can't! But when I hold them in my hand, the difference is absolutely clear. Does anybody have inventory of these they can look at? Is this a legitimate variation?
