For what it's worth, every collector on this board seems to think he or she owns the hobby. YOU DECIDE that LEs should have at least 250, and they should be able to be purchased by the public. Then YOU DECIDE that once a chip is released, and the hobby has decided its price, no one should issue more. You condemn the casino for not issuing enough, then you condemn it for issuing too many. And your only real argument is that the hobby should be set up in a way to make you money!!!!!!

F*** that!!! If you bought Qualcom stock 4 years ago it would be worth 5-percent of what you paid for it, and the stock certificates are still ugly. If you bought Barris Custom LEs 4 years ago, you're in way better shape financially, and you still have the CHIPS. Does anyone remember THE CHIPS!!!!!!!!! Those of you who speculate are going to be burned by the market occasionally. The Hard Rock isn't a F@@@ing bank set up to make you money. Play the market. Take your losses. Don't biatch about it. Is anyone upset that they made a 200% profit on some chips? No, that's expected. But a loss ?!?!?!?! Oh my god!!!!!

You people act like you own the hobby. That is so sad. Casinos don't issue chips to serve collectors. The very word "collect" indicates hat we pick up what others put out. Is any one complaining that the Z1-rated chip they bought last year is now "K" rated? It happens. Buy what you like. Don't think there's a shortcut to easy money. And get on with your life.

Hey warwick- God bles you for keeping this s**t alive. It would be cool if you could make the CD case different, but if you can't- that's your privillege. If a chip has a # on it, i say it's limited. If it doesn't, it's open.

BTW- with all of the science in this hobby, are you all telling me that UV markings, inks, or some other stuff isn't going to differentiate these chips and/or holders from the others? Personally, I predict someone will come up with a way.

SO feel free toinsult me, I'm used to it.
