I haven't seen the tour, but have read plenty of reviews, interviews, etc, and it always struck me that Dave was playing for the fans by playing VH hits, while Sammy was stroking his own ego by including lesser-known and newer songs.

Like I said, I haven't seen the show, so am just interested in the perspectives of those who have. Personally I think Sammy Hagar and Davis Lee Roth were both producing great music until Dave left Van Halen and Sammy joined. After that, i haven't been intersted in much either did. Can't stand Dave's solo stuff, or Sammy's work with VH.
