It's really a shame that his life ended on a fluke accident.

I first met Chick Hearn way back in 1970 when he was the host of "Bowling for Dollars"! I was on the show & ended up with a strike on my first roll & then left the 10 pin on my next roll. I think the prize was a little over $3,000 at that point & you needed two strikes to win it. I saw him a couple of times after that & he was always very nice & always had a smile. Andy - Las Vegas
