Re: Outlook Express security...
In Response To: Outlook Express security... ()

Don,
I have Outlook Express & I use the preview pane. I get to read my E-Mails & see any attachments that have pictures before I download them. If I want to save a file I have to right click on it & a small window comes up asking if I want to 'Open it' or 'Save it to disk'. McAfee does not even have to come into play unless I decide to open or save the file. I get about 6 E-Mails a day that no doubt have a virus attached to them & I just delete them & then empty my 'Deleted items' folder. That is how I have been reading my E-Mail for a few years now & have never had a problem. Having the 'Do not allow attachments to be saved' option clicked means that you can't save files unless I am missing something. I tried it after seeing your post & was not able to save a file.
