In Doug Saito's catalog for the Hank Boss Auction on page 13 about the California Club is a photo of Tutor Scherer, Jake Kozloff and Johnny Hughes.

"...Johnny Hughes and his wife Mitzi were past owners of the Player's Club on the Strip and would eventually be principal owners of the Sahara." Now we are left to wonder if Hughes ever ok'd the 30-40 Pan tables in the parking lot.
