I maybe new to the chip collecting community but not to collecting. I tend to agree with you. It seems when you get LE's into anything it brings the greed out in everyone. The most obivous is baseball cards. I loved buying, trading, selling, and collecting them, until..... The card company's started coming out with LE's , Inserts, and all sorts of junk. Every stop & shop, mom & pop, and discount store came out with their own sets of cards. Not to mention dog food and ceeral company's. It just took the FUN out of it and made it WORK. You had to do all sorts of extra stuff to be able to aford the stuff you really wanted. Now the card company's have collectors or so-called collectors going threw pack just for the inserts and tossing the other "more common" cards in the trash. The all mighty BUCK!

I have watched the LE chips come out in the past few months and I have no desire to have any of them. Who wants a chip with Lewis/Tyson on it? If I collected Boxing stuff maybe. But I'm smart enough not to play that game. I am sticking to the grass roots of what got me started in collecting chips and that's the Oklahoma Casino's. I may add a few odd balls here and there but I will be picky. I have just learned that I can't have everything and that I will let everyone else go for the LE's. You have to pay for bragging rights and I just have other things I want to spend my money on.
