Net Access while traveling

I just got cable internet access this week and am enjoying the greatly increased speed that comes with this type connection. I'd like to get rid of my old dial-up ISP, but still need a way to get on line with my laptop when I travel.

Does anyone have experience with the CD's sold by SLINGSHOT that give you 600 minutes of local connect for $10? The 10 hours must be used within a year, but that's a good price... in fact, it's less than one month of the cheapest dialup service I've found. Will be doing a free trial but am interested to see if anyone in the hobby is already a (satisfied?) customer.
