The Club is very fortunate to have someone of Belinda's talents willing to step up and run for Club Secretary.

I have known Belinda for 4 years as she worked with me on 3 Conventions, two as Co-Chair. The amount of work that she did is far more than she mentions. As Convention Co-Chair she coordinated the educational conferences with Micahel and Dick, solicited all the ads for the program, grew the program from 25 pages to 90+ pages in three years, handled the banquet registrations, pre-registrations, awards, registration packages, worked with Dick on the Trop live chip design, and more things than I can recall. She has been a very integral part of the Club and Convention for the last few years.

She certainly is willing to speak her mind. When we disagreed on some aspect of the Convention more times than not I'm sure we did her way .

She has what the Club needs in any officer. The time to devote to the Club, the desire to see the Club improve, and the organizational skills and talent to bring new ideas to the table.

I can't imagine anyone more qualified, and she has certainly earned the right to ask for everyone's support.

Belinda does have one shortcoming. She hasn't been worth a damn at keeping me sober at the last two banquets. I guess that is not part of the Club Secretary's job anyway .

Very seriously I hope everyone will support Belinda in her campaign. We are fortunate to have her in the race.
