Like Mike, I am not a Silver Strike collector nor was I signed up for the tournament, but this is just not right.

I am not at all personally effected except to the extent that I know many of my fellow the club members are. Being retired and even when I was working for a living, self-employment afforded me to opportunity to take vacations at a drop of a hat or at my whim, but if one is not in that position and had to plan ahead, this could be very devastating.

The very least the hotel could do is to explain their decision and try to make amends to the people for their loss.

I believe that we as a whole (2500 or members) could make quite a difference in the ultimate bottom line return to the PPE properties if we stuck together. I expect that there may be a few baby whales lurking out there somewhere but even as a group, they have the potential of losing a lot of gamblers. I, for one, will never gamble another dollar at their properties, including at the convention.

I believe a mass letter writing campaign would let them know the mistake they made.

I did have strong empathy for those that are affected.
