I just looked back at the previously posted MGM scan and the other Manila Bay scan posted by Bob Hermans. His scans show the detail more clearly. The MGM does have a texture to it but not the wire inlay(?). The Manila Bay chip shows the same cross hatch texture but also has a strip of the same design (in the middle) that the Paris Jetons had all through them. Also these chips show a feature that I had forgotten and that is the pearlescent type effect inside the chips.
