Our antique season is over with in Florida, but when it was active Michael Richter and I noticed these pieces here in West Palm Beach. We passed, not thinking they were chips... though they are nice looking whatever they are. grin

The examples we looked at seemed to not have the translucent disk in the center (thickness) of the piece, but favoring one side.

There are similar design gambling chips made in Germany, but those translucent disks are dead center.
