Andy,
I agree that keeping an organized chip release and taking care of the dealers is very important to the success of the overall picture of chip collecting. I think that it is important they can keep not only themselves and their collections in stock, but their clients as well.

I guess what I was trying to say was that although the release was a disaster; I think in my heart of hearts, warrick isn’t solely to blame for this one. From what I hear at work, there were some outside sources pulling strong for the high rollers to get all the chips. (Strictly word of mouth)

I don’t think it is such a good idea that collectors banish collecting from the hard rock, like some chippers are recommending. It wouldn't be in the best interest of themselves, buyers around the country, and the chip program as a whole.

I find it hard to believe that every collector has a 2000 cinco, and yet each and everyone of the individuals continues to come to each chip release and state that they are keeping their collection in tact. I think that at sometime or other in your collecting years, you fully understand that you aren't going to have everything chip imaginable, but if you could have the most complete collection possible, and hope that someday, in the future, like Donna and Bruce did, you might just come across someone who has or find the chip that is missing.
I work there and have been collecting hard rock chips, and I had to come to that conclusion when I couldn't find the 2000 cinco.

I just wanted to say that you make a very valid point and I respect your opinion.
