I hope the hobby fills with both new and young people, the old pharts will 'pass' . As far as whom I sell my collection to, you are probably right younger personS, that is logical. I will leave my estate to a younger person too. I hate to see the marketing ploys and the greed come into our hobby. When chips are worth a buck or to it's a friendly hobby, as more and more become worth thousands it lends itself to ruthlessness, fraud, counterfeiting, gouging, and etc. The HR knew what they were doing. Look how many others have done the same thing. I don't think it is good for our hobby, but the HR aint a collector! It MAY be great for our 'investment' but not so for the hobby. When we think about the investment, slabbing and grading are lurking around the corner to capitalize on that aspect. I like chipping, I like the people and I love the exchange on the board, I do not like what the HR and others are doing.
