Thanks Robert. No appologies necessary. I may be in somewhat of an agreement with you on your point. There may be a number of collectors out there willing to spend that much to keep their sets complete.

I just don't want people to think that it is KNOWN that 18 people are willing to pay that much. This is not known yet.

It will be interesting to see if the price comes down. For example, when the London and Manchester chips first hit eBay, the chips sold for well over the $8 asking price that these same people could have paid on HardRock.com. In fact, someone paid $51.00!!! Some of this is just buyers out there not knowing better. Another reason is that with any new object, you have people willing to pay extra just to get it right away. Others will be more patient and wait for the price to stabilize and come down.

Hopefully, that will be that case for this chip since it has been said that 250 of them were produced. Other chips will turn up, question is how many.
