Doug Saito has the good reputation he enjoys because he is knowledgeable and honest and knows his chips and they are "saleable" just on his say so. Why would Doug want to submit his chips to a 3rd party to slab ... and compromise his knowledge and leave the grading to someone else? He is an expert in his own field. Offering slabbed chips would not be in Doug's best interest in my humble opinion. He would only wind up destroying the trust and good-will and customer base that he has built up over several years. It's simply not worth the hassle.
