I see nothing wrong with giving the dealers a chance to set up and possibly socialize for a short time, before they go to work for hours and hours. It's also a chance to see what others have to offer and what the prices are on competitive items. If a few deals are made, what's the difference? They could just as well get together the night before, on the web or at other shows.
