Hey, John Jonannes------
In Response To: Re: More Chip ID's needed ()

You sound pretty positive upon which you write. grin I have never known you to argue so veheminently and then be wrong, so I will probably concede and admit defeat. I want to resubmit the chip to TRK as I have never seen the file card or the info from Dennis. It was acquired by either Hank or Doug, who sent the info to me. It is very possible that the chips were shipped to the Esquire Club in 1952 in El Centro and used in the Victory Card Club or Victory Cigar & Club in San Jose in 1954. If it was an illegal, this would be a common practice. As for the dates, Eastman is pretty good but two years here or there could be forgiven. TGT differs quite a bit on Larry's opening dates. I will keep you informed as the saga unfolds. I have begun to acquire a taste for crow and will submit to another plateful if the need arises. See you in June, John.
