I think you hit it right on the head. The house keeps no money. It is all split up with all the players at the end of the night.

It is even more legal than a bunch of poker buddies sitting around the living room, and then the winner going home $30 ahead.

Now do I know this for a fact? No! I have to believe that there is nothing illegal as long as this game is not intended to generate income for myself personally. Not that myself or someone at
the table doesn't walk away with more cash than they started out with. Hey that's the object, along with having a lot of fun. But no one is taking advantage of any one. Just the guys ( and gals) getting together to socialize.
