Which is why I suggested ...
In Response To: Mint vs Uncirculated ()

... "New" instead of either "mint" or "uncirculated" (which suggestion was adopted in the club's "Official Condition Descriptions").

Once something has been "used", it is no longer "new"! grin

Anyway, I wanted to avoid comparisons to coin grading which, in my opinion, is pretty useless in our hobby.
