You did not do a very good job when it came to the $25 Cinco de Mayo chip. The Hard Rock had done a $25 Rolling Stones chip (1998) AND a $25 Billy Joel chip (1999) prior to you doing the Cinco de Mayo chip in 2000. They made 5,000 of each one of those two releases. I would think a man in your position who was doing an LE chip like the Cinco de Mayo would have done your homework to see what the Hard Rock had done in the past. EVEN without you doing your homework you should have known that 100 was a very low & out of line number for the Hard Rock.

As to..........

"A lot of so-called 'collectors' took advantage of the low mintage, I am sure that some of these individuals are club members and posters on this board. These are the individuals that sold the chips for $600, $700 even $800 and up. And I am the one being accused of not being chipper friendly? Frankly, I just don't understand that one."

The people who took advantage of the low mintage were the Hard Rock employees who ended up with the majority of the 100 chips. I bought two chips from cage workers. One for $300 & another for $150 & some chips in trade. I also know of quite a few other chips that were sold to collectors & dealers by cage personnel. Funny that you don't mention that & please don't tell us you know nothing about it. I suppose you would tell your Brother to sell his chip for $25 to remain "collector friendly" like yourself. YOU are responsible for there only being 100 people in the World who can collect all of the Hard Rock LE's AND for a number of collectors quitting the hobby because of your Cinco de Mayo move.........Andy - Las Vegas
