I lost my mom under similar circumstances almost 18 years ago. It hurt terribly, but I also was able to find a great deal of comfort in knowing that she was no longer in pain. Watching her suffer was hurting me more than losing her did.

I truly believe in angels. I know that my mom is looking over me to this day, and I believe yours is looking over you too.
