My scanner just quit working. The software opens, then it says the scanner is not connected and to check the cables. All the lights are working on the scanner and the devise manager is showing that its working properly. Tech support said I needed a new disk so I went to the web-site to PURCHASE a new disk for $8.00. Not bad until I found out it is $36.00 next day and $10.00 3rd class shipping! 3rd class more than the disk! Yeah right. (sounds like e-bay) SOOOOOOO.. I went out and bought a new scanner. Installed everything just like I was supposed to, says everything is working, and ..... NO SCANNER DETECTED!! (No scanner is connected to the computer) ARGGGGGGG. Tech support for the NEW scanner didn't answer in over an hour. Not willing to go to the next step and call the 900# they offer for "Express Support". Anyone have any ideas?
