Yes the rate is a little higher on the weekend than you may pay at other places, but you also have the convenience of being right where the action is. I can get a much better rate at Harrah's or Mirage, or Bally's - and most likely a nicer room.

To me, not having to lug my chips (puchases and/or traders) up and down the strip may be worth a couple of bux on the room.
