I am in the planning stage for the 2002 Convention and have a question. The information below was taken off of the Club Site: Hotel room rates - $49.00 Sunday through Thursday and $105.00 Friday and Saturday.. These rates are good from May 31-June 11, 2002. Unfortunately, the Trop had to raise their rates for the weekend. And, as of right now, there is that $3.00 energy tax per night. Two questions: #1 Is this rate a little high for the weekend? #2 Is it worth it to pay this to be at the Convention location instead of commuting from another casino? This will be my first Convention and I want to make sure I dont "DUH" this up like I did last year! All help appreciated. Gene, thanks for the use of the "DUH"
