I am trying to be as polite as possible. I wish that you would extend the same courtesy to me. You are making accusations about me, you are calling me greedy. Where are your facts? If you have facts that show I am greedy, please share them with me and this board and I will shut up. If not, an apology is in order.

I fail to see how making a bid on eBay is in any way related to greed. eBay is a public auction, anyone can bid on an item. The Seller determines the starting price of the auction. This is the minimum price that the seller is willing to accept. The bidder has no control over that. If someone thinks that a bid is too low, they can outbid. Again The bidder has no control over that. Because someone gets an item below an expected value, that does not constitute greed.

I live in New York. I get to Vegas once a year for the convention. So I cannot get all the Vegas chips I want for face value from the cage. Instead I have to buy them from Vegas dealers who charge over face value. Should I call all the Vegas dealers who charge over face value for current chips greedy? No, of course not. That is life and I accept it. The same way I accept the way auctions operate. If I want an item I will bid what I am willing to pay for it.

Jim, I do not know you personally, and I have no idea why you are making a personal attack against me. What do I ever do to you? I take my reputation seriously and I work hard at all times to maintain it. I have 488 eBay positive transactions without one negative. I have traded and bought 1000's of chips from over 500 different chippers without any complaints about me. I stand on my reputation and I will do what I need to make sure that my reputation is not tarnished.
