I have no doubt that some buyers will need to see and touch the chip before bidding. These folks won't use Ebay. Also I have a hunch that there are bidders that use Ebay but aren't involved in our Club auction. The 20% buyer's + seller's premium is one factor. I think the Hacienda and Four Queens auctions are strong evidence that a new era may be here. There's never been a $15,000 chip at the Convention auction. I'm not editorializing, I'm just observing.
