Your comment aside, I was in Vegas and brought back about $7-$8 in $1 Tokens from various other LV casinos, including $1 from Cliff Castle (AZ). I was at Mirage with a friend and decided that rather than traipsing all over town I would just dump them into a $1 machine.

Now some were old, some newer, some bronze some silver - all from different casinos. It turned out that 2 of the silver and one of the bronze(including the one from AZ) worked in the Mirage. So I tried to get rid of the rest at other casinos. I could get the machine to take 1 here and there - never at the home casino.

Finally I dumped the remaining two as a toke for the valet.
