I hope the letters get some positive reaction from AOL. I have had a lot of problems getting problems resolved from them lately. I think it is that they are getting too big too quick. They may be overwhelmed with complaints and requests for assistance. Recently I have noticed an increase in the number of times that I get no response to complaints. Maybe that is because tech problems and complaints are being handled through an automated system and are not being handled by real people. I have been taking a more firm approach to my problems and they have been starting to respond. Unfortunately, it is one thing to file a complaint with them. It is something different when you hit back yelling at them. I, personaly am not of the temperment that I can get angry with people but sometimes that is the only way you get noticed. I have received a few courteous and apologetic letters from them in the recent past so I do know there is some effort there. I just wish they could consistantly be of more help. Also, I question that with all the automation and the obvious amount of complaints they get our efforts to hit them with numerous letters might go unnoticed. They may all end up getting lost in a computer. Your letters with demands of time tables and legal remedies may get some more notice too. If these letters don't work my next attempt might be to send to Steve Case himself. Seriously though, I didn't think to do it in my letters until after I had sent them but I seem to recall you or someone else might have included some actual quotes from his messages in your letters. That may be something to remember if another reply is necessary. I just re-read your original post with your letter. You mentioned 70+ links or something like that. Did you actually link his posts or just the date time and IP numbers. If it actually includes the whole posts that could be helpful.
