ANYONE who agrees with Marv's position on this - would it be prudent to post a unified acknowledgement in conjunction with this post?? (Not my response - beneath Marv's original/ initial post.)
Then Marv? Send the link of the thread to AOL (DAILY?? HOURLY? UNTIL THE MATTER IS RESOLVED????) --- with harassment in subject line as required --- asking AOL to review the posts in this thread. Perhaps IF they see that this Board is serious and united ... they will be inclined to react and assist us with our plea for help.
IF THAT doesn't encourage AOL to consider the severity of the problem - or how strongly we feel - or that "UPBOB's" (aka "who-ever") posts/ assumptions of other's identities / insults are NOT WELCOME or appreciated here... EACH OF us will see no alternative than to EACH send AOL direct emails (AS MANY AS IT TAKES) until they take responsibility for allowing their subscribers to utilize AOL for harassment/ fraud/ identity assumption and slanderous comments.
I TOO HAVE BEEN TARGETED WITH INSULTS from the annoying AOL subscriber. I am prepared to email AOL (again - I have already done) asking for their assistance.
TO AOL:
IF YOU WOULD PREFER 70 -100 individual emails complaining about your subscriber -
I AM PREPARED TO PARTICIPATE IN A MASS COMPLAINT EFFORT TO SEEK YOUR ATTENTION.
WHAT'S IT GOING TO BE???????????????
PERHAPS AOL would like a a mass boycott effort to be initiated instead?????
Any opinions anyone?????
