In regard to your comments about the bitterness, I agree with you 100%. It is unfortunate that a lot of these exchanges result in such a tone. I have been sickened by the bitterness and divisivness that people have been expressing. If this were to continue I think we would be in jeopardy as a hobby and a group. However, one thing that does amaze me is that, with perhaps a few exceptions, the people who exchange some of the most bitter seeming comments will be best of friends on the next issue the next day. I do not know anyone here personally. If I ever meet any of you, you may never want to hear from me again . I do know I have gotten some fairly angry emails about some things that I have written. I often get opposing posts to my comments. However, some of the people who have most disagreed with me on one issue will be telling me what a great post I wrote on another. As harsh a tounglashing I have gotten in the past none have ever been mean or with disrespect. We can all dissagree from time to time and even get into some spirited debates. That is healthy. However, it's not too difficult for people to cross the line and say something hurtful. I hope people will be a little more careful in the future. I remember one persons comments, don't remember who, who responded to a new contributer on the board by saying don't take things personal. He mentioned that most people are really good friends. Then he said to be prepared to "put your foot in your mouth from time to time". As true as that might be, I hope people will try hard to keep their feet away from their faces. If you know what I mean.
