And as for Southwest, I have flown Southwest from Baltimore to LV and I have no complaints. I will give up some of the luxuries for the lower price. Do I need my flight attendants to dress in psuedo military uniforms? Nope.
I will say that Southwest is the only airline that I know of that conducts trivia contests. On one flight to LV they must have given away $1000 in travel vouchers to contest winners. On my next Southwest trip I will write down all of the flight attendants names as I board the plane and before they cover up their name tags with band-aids and offer $100 to anyone who can name them all. Corny? Maybe. A different brand of "customer service?" Yep. Will I fly SWA? You betcha.
