Personally, I am not a boxing fan. Therefore I would not be interested in these chips. Besides, they are $25 which I don't collect so Strike 2. The only boxing chip I ever was interested in was Tyson Holyfield Bite Fight which I have never been able to afford That was one of only two fights that I have ever seen. Just wanted to see Tyson Loose.

That said, I think that if the chip collectors and dealers try to boycot this release it is not going to have an effect. With such a small release, there will be enough people in line to buy them anyways. Assume that on the day of release no one buys them. I am sure Palace Station will just remove the limit and sell them to one of the brokers around here who will pounce on them and sell them on the sports collectable market. There are enough hard core boxing fans out there that they will probably be out there getting Hundreds of bucks a piece. The only proper remedy to this is that those lucky people who are boxing fans just go out there and pick them up understanding that they are probably just picking them up for themselves. Will some just resell them knowing that they are so difficult to come by, I am sure they will.

I have the same feelings about this release that most of you do It does kind of stink. However, I would rather see that they were picked up by people who were getting for themselves and a friend that will get personal enjoyment from them than someone who will go back a few times and sell them on eBay for hundreds of bucks each.
