Their boarding by group is what makes their 20 minute turnaround work, Jim. United's commuter line has adopted a similar system for their short hops.

As I said, it is not the transportation system for everyone. For those who want convenience, their competitors offer it at a price. You don't get reserved seats on a bus either. You also have to stand in line to board the bus.

I try to get to the counter abut an hour and 10 minutes before scheduled departure. Sometimes there's a line... but most people don't like to stand for an hour either.

The Wall Street Journal recently had an interesting review of a book whose premise was that a company should not try to excel in everything. They listed several criteria, like service, value, availability, and a couple of others that I can't remember. Author says no company can be best in every one of them. There are Walmarts for the value shopper whose time is of little value to them; there are Nordstrom's for the wealthy shopper who is willing to pay to have things done for him. It was quite a thought provoking article.
