Interesting that Paul-Son initial records are kept by the last name of the guy that ordered them. I recently tried to get an ID on a set of chips with MEL on them.
No way to get ID unless they looked through all L's, assuming the initials were the initials of the guy that ordered them. They tried, no luck.
As an after thought, they checked a cris cross file they keep on initial chips. MEl was the guys 1st name. Delivered to Mel Atkins in Nov 1987.
But
The order card had been purged because it was over 7 years old with no activity. So, no other information like chip amounts and address was available.
I love to try and ID chips, but the answers are not always available.

I have a couple 4 chip sets of the MEL hat & cane chips to trade for other initial chips, I don't have. They are in great shape.
