Harrah's sues Station over Slot Cards

Harrah's Entertainment is seeking an injunction against Station Casinos, arguing the locals
gaming giant has violated the patents on Harrah's Total Rewards frequent gambler program.

Las Vegas-based Harrah's claims that Station Casinos'Boarding Pass loyalty program used at five Station properties in Las Vegas violates patents issued to Harrah's.

"Harrah's spent thousands of hours and millions of dollars to become the only casino company with a national player recognition and tiered loyalty card program,"

The lawsuit filed Friday in U.S. District Court seeks a permanent injunction prohibiting Station from "continuing to infringe on Harrah's patents." It also seeks unspecified additional remedies.
