Value on Hard Rock CC>CC no value chip

I've been curious how the value would settle out on the Hard Rock CC>CC "no value" chip. We all know that 500 were produced and that the "floor" for the chip is zero, since those with coupons acquired it for zero, and it is not redeemable for any monetary value. However...

There have been 7 completed auctions and 1 direct sale that I'm aware of, with the following results:

Convention auction - lot #249 (introduced on auction night, without prior publicity): $30.00
(In hindsight, THAT'S a lucky bidder!)

Ebay: 5 completed auctions at $202.50 (the first to list, though not first to close [10-day auction], and highest result); $177.50; $171.25; $157.50; $129.35.

Jackpot auctions: 1 completed, that I'm aware of: $99.25

Direct sale: 1 that I'm aware of (sold by B. Whiteman): $125.00, I think.

There's also one currently on Ebay, with 4 days left, at:

FYI, the average of 6 auctions (excluding the CC>CC auction): $156.23

It's my guess that the trend will settle to a $100-$125 cash/trade value by the convention floor next year. Perhaps even less that $100 by an individual member, though dealer's cases probably won't have a sticker price below the $100-$125 range. These are just my musings, I have none for sale, nor am I looking to buy.

Wha't also interesting is that a 500-edition chip, produced for under $1000, including artwork, is collectively valued at $50,000, if you assume a $100 per chip value. On the other hand, if 2000 had been issued, with easy access to chippers, it might be a $5 chip, with a collective value of $10,000 -- a $40,000 difference in perceived value, due to the laws of supply & demand. (BTW, I have no problem with the chip or Hard Rock. Just commenting on how supply & demand produces interesting results sometimes.)
