In my humble beginners stage... education, identification and recognition is very important to me.

When I bought this Silverbird set (complete less a couple of the fractionals and the tokens which I added later) ~` I emailed Mel Jung asking him about the chips (mainly to verify that the price I paid was "fair" and realistic. His immediate response was to be wary as these had been conterfeited and to be sure the chips I would be getting were incused. (a term I had never heard before.)

Since then, I have wanted to acquire one of the fakes... (so if anyone has one to sell or trade - any denomination - the cheaper the better in fact...hahahahahaha) so I could SEE the differences (besides the incused die etc...). I mean - surely there is some deviation in color too?? font??? other things?????
Can one tell how the chip was put together??? ALL that stuff. I am a "hands-on" kinda girl and like to SEE things (but ya'll KNOW that already - dontcha!) in order for me to understand them better.
