This idea is in the formative stage, so if you can improve on it, or just think it's a bad/unworkable idea, please say so...

While I found a number of chips from my "Want List" at the convention, there's always a few that I never seem to locate. Maybe they weren't anywhere on the floor, but it's impossible to look thru every binder & dealer's case. So the idea is:

The club charges $1 (or so) per chip/item to put your request(s) on a master "Want List". Then copies are made & distributed to each dealer. If he has any, he writes his table # next to the item. After a couple of hours, the lists are collected. Requesters can then check the lists for any tables that may have that illusive chip they're seeking. As a sideline, it raises a few bucks for the club. It's also a win-win for the dealer and the collector seeking the chip.

It would take 2-3 volunteers (with good handwriting and/or access to a laptop & printer) at the club table (?) to collect the info & $$, run the lists out & back, etc. Probably a new list once per day.

With everything else going on, is this a feasible/practical idea, and would there be enough potential demand for such a service? If you are a dealer, would you be interested in participating, or is it too chaotic? Of course, the idea would need to be approved thru the Convention Chairman & officers, but I'm just throwing it out for preliminary comments.
