Kevin; The "silver strikes" referred to on this bulletin board are specially minted .999 fine silver-center tokens that are housed in a two-piece clear plastic snap case that is dropped into the payout hopper when a slot player lines up single bars on a special 3-reel slot machines. The payout token is redeemable for $10 at the casino cage if gotten from a .25¢ machine. $40 redeemable silver strike tokens also exist that are similarly paid out on a $1 slot machine. If one were to line up double bars on all three reels, two "silver strike" tokens would drop into the hopper. If triple bars are lined up on all three reels, three "silver strike" tokens would be the payout.

Many collectors do not redeem these prize tokens. They are usually added to ones collection or duplicates are used for trades with other silver strike collectors.

As Don Lueders has posted, the slot tokens you have are not silver strikes, but merely $1 gaming tokens.
