When the Sphinx chips surfaced I received a call asking if I had the chip or knew anything about quantity. The chip was unknown to me at the time.

I have no problem with the chips you illustrate reading CI - in fact, I said in my post that I would call the vertical portion of the inlay an "I" or a "TORCH."
