Didn't I see a post earlier stating that the Trop was out of rooms at the convention rate?

IF that's the case, wouldn't this be a moot point anyway? I thought I saw someone say the non-convention rate was $200+ per night... if that is the case, I'd opt for something cheaper / or appealing in a personal level too.

BUT THANK GOODNESS I made my reservations early and I am staying at the Trop I have attended other conventions - and being in the middle of the action IS theplace to be!
