I'm like Kerry. If I stayed at the Trop, I could not afford to go out during the convention. If most of the con attendees stay at the Tropicana, that is up to them. But Some of us can't -- or won't -- for their own reasons. It's the same as roulette harvesting -- or slabbing -- or collecting LE's. You are going to get two sides to every option (or argument). Your side and the wrong side. The more intense the feeling involved the less likely you are going to convince the other side that they are wrong and you are right. You feel people who don't stay in the host hotel are pond scum who should be killed and people who do stay at the host hotels are righteous dudes who would be in heaven except they haven't passed on yet. This may just be a minor difference of opinion on a single point, but life on this earth is and always will be a lot better when a person can look you in the eye and say, "I don't agree with you but I respect your opinion and your right to have it."

Geez, I just read that over and it looks like I'm talking about the Middle East. I guess my response to you just went way overboard, George. Let's just say I choose not to stay at the Tropicana, and leave it at that.

Jill, Jim and Bruce, thanks for the info on Spirit Mountain. It will be nice just to hit a casino in the state of Arizona because I've never been there before.
