Rick; I've been having my own problems getting an image to show on my bb posts. I can pass along two things that may be of some help to you.

First of all the red x in a box is referred to as a broken icon...., preview your message before posting. If you don't see the image in the preview, you won't see it after it's been posted. The other thing I was having a problem with .... when I uploaded to Greg's space, I received notification that it uploaded o.k. but it also showed 0 bytes. That's also a clue that something is wrong. Thanks to Gene Trimble, I got my problem resolved.
