Leo; John Zoesch mentioned gun safes. They are excellent for storing your collectibles in. You can buy them at most larger sporting goods stores in the area and they can be outfitted without the built-in gun racks and can be ordered with carpeted shelving instead. Some of them are finished so decoratively that they look like a piece of furniture. They are also fire retardant up to a certain level for a certain amount of time. Don't put them on a second floor, or even on the first floor if you have a basement because in case of a nasty fire it will probably wind up in the basement anyhow.
