I have been visiting the board for over a year now but I have not seen a post on or about "safe, vault, safety boxes" or whatever you call them. I have read the subject on insurance for chip collections. Or did I miss some posts?

When do you need one? Where do you buy one? Second hand or brand new? I have not seen them on the flea markets I have been too. I found some web sites. I don't need Fort Knox model and I don't need a carry on safety boxes.

I got a friend who wants to sell me his father vault - its about 6 ft., plenty of shelves, made by Toledo Safe Company and formerly used for gold coin and jewelries. I have not seen it yet. Honestly I don't know how to proceed.

Can anybody post some feedbacks on this. please.
