To answer your question, I use Expedia and Travelocity. I like Travelocity better just because it is easier to use. I find that the rates are almost always the same unless you can find a site that does last minute deals. Remember that you can make all of your plans from the web site and then call the airline to order your tickets. If you are looking for a package deal then a travel agent may get a better price but watch out for which hotels are included. Most LV hotels have their own web site and you normally will get better prices there. But it never hurts to call the 800 number and double check. My last trip to Vegas I saved $60 at Excaliber by calling the hotel and asking if they had any specials. I always make my own arrangements but it can be a lot of work for very few dollars saved. As far as where to go - there is no comparison.
