Jim, I have no doubt you and Gene are correct in your assessment of the Thunderbird chips and their
attributation to an illegal club.

It is just amusing to me how the frenzy took over at the convention and how so many "knowledgeable" people were knowingly or unknowingly misled.

I am more convinced now than ever before that paying $25.00 for a chip of which there was 600 total found, even if only 300 were in saleable condition was too much. This is true even if it was a Las Vegas chip and especially if it is not.

If $25.00 was a fair price, I can now see justification for new chip service dealers charging the same thing for LE's with similiar production limitations. (at least the LE's are in excellent condition.)
